Arrow Coffee and Bodega in Manhattan, KS is located in Downtown Manhattan. It has everything from kitchen supplies to groceries, fresh produce, homemade frozen meals, coffee, food, and even items that could be super fun gifts!
When I heard that Harry's and Howdy's decided to close, I like most of us was sad! Harry's and Howdy's were such a piece of history in Manhattan, KS. Then, in 2022, when it was announced that Arrow Coffee would be opening up Arrow Cocktail Lounge and Arrow Coffee and Bodega in the spaces I was elated!
When I was downtown Wednesday I decided to see if Arrow Coffee and Bodega was open and I am beyond happy I did! On the bodega side of the store, I did a little bit of shopping and was pleasantly surprised by their selection. Arrow Coffee and Bodega has everything from kitchen supplies to groceries, fresh produce, frozen meals, desserts, and even items that could be super fun gifts! I mean who doesn't need a wooden spoon that guides you to, "fold in the cheese?"
I enjoyed the mix of groceries from classic brands like Wasa, Bonne Maman, and Safe Catch. I was also pleasantly surprised to also see some local brands like Holy Coat Creamery and our down-the-road neighbors, Smokin' H's Meats bbq sauce and pork rub, and Kansas City Canning Co. pickles! They even carry Kistner's Flowers potting mixes!
After my shopping, I headed to order my lunch! The lunch menu was a nice mix of lighter foods that lean more towards the healthy side of things! I chose the Chicken sausage with a side of chips and pickles! I thought it was a nice touch that the pickles they served with the meal were the same pickles they sell from the Kansas City Canning Co., the Black Garlic Pickles!
My lunch was delicious and with the chips and pickles, it was the perfect lunch, not too heavy but completely filling! When I was doing some grocery shopping I also grabbed some of their Macaroons. The Arrow Coffee macaroons are some of my favorites in town so I was not leaving without a few!
Right now, Arrow Coffee and Bodega are open from 8 am to 2 pm and are closed Monday and Tuesday, but make sure to check the hours in case they need to adjust them!
