I was hooked when I first tasted Frida's The True Mexican Taste at their food truck! Everything on the menu was amazing, so when I heard they were opening up a restaurant, I was thrilled! The restaurant's opening has allowed Frida's to expand their menu and offer up so many amazing new menu items.
We have been to Frida's several times and each time our meal has been fantastic! One of my favorite soups is Albondigas, so I was excited to see it on the menu! We have also enjoyed their mega-burrito, and even though I am not a huge fan of burritos, this was delicious! I wish I had gotten a weight on the mega burrito, it was so heavy, that I made two meals out of it!

The staff at Frida's was super helpful at the food truck and the restaurant staff has been the same. The menu has such a large mix when we are not sure what we are in the mood for they always lead us in the right direction with our order!
A perfect example of this is their, Parrifrida. Recommended to us by our server, Parrifrida is the top left corner image. From the menu, Parrifrida is Carne Asada, Carnitas, Chorizo, and cambray potatoes. Served with jalapeños filled with cheese and wrapped in bacon with a side of rice, beans, guacamole, and tortillas. Everything on this plate was so good, the Carnitas virtually melted in your mouth it was so tender.
Frida's menu has a variety of seafood, chicken, beef, and even several vegetarian options to choose from! If you know me, or you have read my blog about Frida's Food truck, then you know that you do not want to miss the dessert options, especially the Chocoflan! Chocoflan is part chocolate cake and Mexican custard, it is one of the best desserts you will find in Manhattan, KS!
