Since my diagnosis, I've made a huge effort to eat better, so that means a focus on whole foods. However, finding healthy meals that come in a fast food pace is not easy, that is, until I found Hungry Chickpea in Downtown Manhattan, KS.
Hungry Chickpea has quickly become a local favorite of mine. I love that I can grab hummus and veggies, wraps, panni, salad, and they are all super fresh and healthy! Hungry Chickpea is bringing mindful eating to downtown Manhattan, KS's vibrant food scene.
Though they don’t post a full menu on their website, you can find current offerings on their Instagram. What you can expect at Hungry Chickpea is a delightful array of wraps and salads made to order. The restaurant’s vibe is all about balance. After all, what else do you get when you blend two amazing scratch-made restaurants together, especially when those two restaurants are a bakery and healthy cuisine?
Hungry Chickpea mainly operates out of their downtown space with Thera-pie at 106 S. 4th St, Manhattan, KS. You will also find Hungry Chickpea at Hale Library and Brother's Coffee.
