A Hullabaloo is by definition a commotion; a fuss. Every year the community of Leonardville, KS holds a Hullabaloo on its Main Street. The kick-off to the Hullabaloo is on Friday night with the Ranch Rodeo beginning at 6:30 pm! For those who have not been to a Ranch Rodeo, it is a must-do if you have the chance! A Ranch Rodeo is a unique experience but is so much fun.
Saturday is the big day for the Hullabaloo. The day starts with the Pancake feed at 7 am and then the Softball tournament beginning at 9 am. The Hullabaloo Softball Tournament is always fun and packed with teams from around the area. When your team is not on the diamond, you can enjoy all the other festivities held a few short blocks away while you have breaks.

The car and tractor show kicks will be held from 9 am-2 pm. The car and tractor show brings in cars of all genres for visitors to look at and enjoy. The tractors show the variety of farm implements and how they have changed over the years.
For the little's there is turtle race registration that begins at 9 am. The "Sanctioned" Kid's Tractor pedal pull competition is also held on Saturday! Each competitor needs to register for the kid's tractor pull, that registration begins at 11:30 am and the Tractor Pull will be held from 12-2 pm!
Get your seat for the parade that begins at 3:30 pm and will be led by the kids' decorated bikes from City Park to Downtown. In the evening on Saturday, there will be BBQ, cotton candy, Hurt's Band, and even Hot Air Balloon rides (weather-dependent)! All of these are free to attendees!
The food at the Hullabaloo is always absolutely delicious! Last year I had some of the best BBQ nachos I have EVER had! Seriously, so good! They also served Green Onion Brat out of the same food truck, which is a 10/10 highly recommended as well. The weather this year looks amazing, especially for August in Kansas!
