The Miracle on Moro in Manhattan, Kansas is a Christmas Cocktail Pop-up at The Hi-Lo Restaurant in Aggieville.
Does it seem crazy to anyone else that we are only a few weeks away from Christmas? I can't even believe I just typed that. This year has seemed to drag on until we got to August. Now it feels like I blink and another month has gone by. I was visiting with another agent at my office this week and we both were saying, it doesn't seem possible to me that Thanksgiving was just a couple of weeks ago.
However, as this year is marching on and we are making our way through the various levels of Jumanji, so do the festivities. I can't tell you how excited I am that one of my favorites is returning to Manhattan! The Miracle on Moro is back!
For those who are not familiar with the Christmas Cocktail Pop-Up, it first made its appearance a few years ago in The Little Apple. The pop-up combines some of my favorite things, Christmas, fun drinks, and no surprise great food! You will find the pop-up at, The Hi-Lo on Moro in Aggieville. The Hi-Lo is the sister restaurant to AJ's Pizzeria.
I promise the Miracle on Moro is a must-do in Manhattan! This year the Pop-Up kicks off on Nov 26th and goes through Jan. 1st. It is VERY popular for those looking to get in the holiday spirit to watch the tree lighting at the Festival of Lights and then head down to the Miracle on Moro! If you aren't able to make it on opening weekend, no worries! Head down for lunch or get the full experience and have dinner under the lights while you take in all the sights, and sounds of the holidays!

While they have a special drink menu, The Hi-Lo still will serve their regular food menu which includes more non-traditional pizzas such as Grilled Cheese and Chester and Chong. Their menu also includes a Nashville Hot sandwich that brings the heat! Some amazing cheeseburgers and to kick your meal off, you HAVE to try their Goat Sticks!
The Goats Sticks is an appetizer that includes The Hi-Lo's buttery garlic breadsticks made from their pizza dough and a bowl full of their warm house-made marina topped with a crazy amount of goat cheese. It is so filling by itself but is perfect to take home.
One of my favorite times to go is after the Mayor's Spirit of the Holidays Parade. Held on the first Friday in Dec. the community comes together to ring in the holidays. The parade comprises floats from various business and community groups that begin at the Manhattan Town Center and then travel through Aggieville. It offers a great time to meet up in Aggieville with family and friends!
