For quite some time I have been hearing great things about the Riley Cafe' in Riley, KS, and knew that I had to try it! Like most things, it took me longer than I had planned to get there but I am certainly happy I finally made it! This charming cafe' is serving up scratch-made food daily to the residents and visitors of Riley, KS. I enjoyed lunch with some friends the day I went and we all will be going back!
For those following along, you know that I love my cheeseburgers, so you know that is what I had to order! My friends both ordered the Eat Me sandwich, which is a turkey sandwich with sauteed onion and swiss cheese. The portions were huge and everything was absolutely delicious! I added a trip to their salad bar to my order. It has been forever since I went through a salad bar so I just had to! For a girl who is totally missing the Little Apple Brewing Companies salad bar, this one was a welcome sight. The Riley Cafe' salad bar has a variety of greens to choose from then a very nice selection of toppings, pickles, olives, crackers, salad dressings, and more!

I can not say enough great things about our server. From the beginning, he let us know that he was "just helping out," which is just amazing in itself that people are so willing to help, but he was very personable and made our meal even more enjoyable! In short, the Riley Cafe' is serving up great food and wonderful service! What more can you ask for? So do yourself a favor, make the short drive from Manhattan and enjoy a great meal at the Riley Cafe' in Riley, KS!
