Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, next to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, this hidden gem isn't just your run-of-the-mill Mexican joint. No, sir! Taqueria El Aguila brings the real deal.
The entire menu is delicious, but their street tacos and burritos are some of my favorites!!! Whether you're a meat lover or a seafood enthusiast, there's a taco here with your name on it. From succulent carnitas to tangy al pastor and even mouthwatering shrimp tacos, each bite is full of flavor that'll have you coming back for more.
Taqueria El Aguila doesn't stop at tacos. Oh no, they've got a whole lineup of Mexican classics like Sopes, Elotes, Mulitas, Tameles, Tortas, and more! During the colder weather, you can also find soups like Menudo and Posole! Those who know me, know I am a sucker for Chocoflan so you know I had to order a slice! If you are like me and always need a sweet after-dinner as well, then definitely give their Chocoflan a try.
Their burritos are hefty, hearty, and packed to the brim with your choice of fillings. And don't even get me started on their salsas! The salsa bar and array of toppings are what dreams are made of! No matter whether you are a fan of mild, medium, or super spicy, you will find the perfect homemade salsa for your meal. In case you get a little too much spice, don't forget, that you can also pair your meal with one of their refreshing Aguas Frescas!
