The hustle and bustle of Christmas had me mailing packages of presents and the dreaded returns. When I was caught at the stoplight heading to the FedEx store, I noticed a new shop a few doors down named, "The Kountry Attic." The sign caught my eye, in this town, anything with Purple and White gets noticed!
So once I made my returns at FedEx I headed down. Much to my surprise, it was an adorable little shop with a nice mix of handmade items. They had everything from placemats, table runners, candles, quilts, furniture and more. I was thrilled to see they had Soup Bowl Cozies, I had been meaning to order new ones, but was excited to be able to purchase them locally!
For those wondering what a Soup Bowl Cozie is, it is literally a Cozie for your bowl so that you don't burn your hands when you fill your bowl with hot soup! We use them frequently in our house and have somehow lost a couple so I needed to restock!
When I visited with the owner she let me know that she can custom make several of the items you see in the store from the variety of fabrics in the back. All you do is let her know the item and pick the fabric you like and she will get it put together. How cool is that?
The Kountry Attic does have a Facebook Page for you to see some of the items available, but I hope you can make time to stop by and check things out in person!
