I love a food truck, so when Willie's Waffles popped up on my Facebook feed, I knew I needed to try. After a crazy day, I definitely wanted something easy for dinner. All I cared about was that I could pick up on the way home!
Lucky for me, on this evening, located in the Westloop Shopping Center was Willie's Waffles. The decision was made, Willie's Waffles was what's for dinner! Willie's Waffles has a simple, but delicious menu, of which I ordered one of everything. It seemed like a good amount for two! Just kidding, we love leftovers, so I decided to fix that and support a new small business all at the same time!

On the menu, you will find chicken and waffles, the 17-piece Chicken Hawk Platter, and the EMAW Waffle. The chicken and waffles were good, I mean, who doesn't love the salty-sweet combo? The 17-piece Chicken Hawl Platter is 17 chicken strips, and I can totally see us grabbing this often. Everything we ordered was cooked to order, which I love. In addition to being part of our dinner, these would be perfect for meal prep, tailgating, or even a potluck!
Last, but not least, the dessert waffle. The EMAW Waffle is a blueberry waffle topped with purple berry syrup and powdered sugar. It was delicious.
We can't wait to go back, and I look forward to seeing if they add menu items in the future. Reminder, everything is made to order, so be patient and enjoy! The young man who was working when I went was super polite and helpful, so second reminder, we all start somewhere!
To follow Willie's Waffles, follow them on their Facebook page to find their schedule and menu!
