Painted in 2021 by William Counter from Chapman, KS. This mural is of U.S. Stamp #1061 that was originally issued May 31st, 1954.

The Kansas Stamp mural was issued to mark the 100th anniversary of the Kansas Territory. The stamp shows the covered wagon train and the wheat along the trail.
