Bierock Pockets

My family loves Bierocks, but we love the inside of a Bierock even more. We make this a ton because it is delcious and best part, its easy! I grabbed some amazing KS products Pacheco Beef and Hoganville Sauerkraut to mix up a batch this time! Enjoy!

  • Large Skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Sauerkraut Juice
  • 2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup Thinly Sliced Carrots
  • 1 cup Sauerkraut
  • Pita Pockets
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Brown Ground Beef in pan.
  • Add dried mince onions and stir
  • Add Garlic Powder and Worcestershire sauce
  • Add the Sauerkraut juice and stir, scrapping up any brown bits off the bottom of the pan.
  • Add thinly sliced carrots and stir, allow them to cook to desired tenderness.
  • Then, add Sauerkraut and heat through.
  • Add Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Warm pitas according to package instructions and fill with mixture then enjoy!
